Using Indian designers of repute from prestigious National Design Academies the Jagamanja line of Tasar Silk Scarves and Wraps present fashion-forward glamour through an all-natural product.
Our Silk Scarves and Wraps are special - not just because of their handmade quality and stunning looks, but also because of who they are made by and how they are made. Our scarves are from two sources, one using Tasar Silk and the other having Kalamkari Handpainted designs.

Tasar, an indigenous Indian silk, produced in the forests of Eastern and Central India can be termed as one of the wildest silks in the world. The natural look and texture of fabrics woven from tasar yarn defies replication by manmade fibres making it one of the most coveted silks among the lovers of natural fabrics.Read more about Tasar silk in our Materials and Products area.
Our Kalamkari scarves are simply fabulous. They are in silk crepe with hand painted Kalamkari art designs, as such every one is unique. Burnt Tamarind twigs are used as pens as the artisans use natural vegatable dyes to create their designs. Through the sale of their wonderful products, the women artisans are becoming economically independent with a steady income source and are able to support their families.
